If Music Be the Food of Love
special partnership concert
Guelph’s Shakespeare: Made in Canada Festival inspired the double themes of food and Shakespeare for this fun concert. An all-Shakespeare segment will include a jazzy arrangement of "Lovers Love the Spring" and John Govedas' quirky “Mulligatawny MacBeth.” Choir II will present choreographed food titles such as “Food, Glorious Food” and “Feed the Birds,” while Choir I will steal the show with “The Teddy Bears’ Picnic.”
Directed by the acclaimed Linda Beaupré.
Accompanist Ken Gee. Guest musicians and more!
NOTE: In a special partnership performance with Guelph Musicfest, admission to this performance will be available with a Guelph Musicfest Super Series ticket.
Single tickets for this GYS concert can be ordered directly from the River Run Centre box office or by calling the GYS at (519) 821-8574.
