Born in Fergus, Ontario, Meredith started playing the violin at the age of five. As a Guelph Suzuki Strings School student, she studied with Paule Barsalou and later took lessons with Mark Fewer and Jerzy Kaplanek. She graduated from McGill University in 2006, where she completed her Bachelor of Music with Denise Lupien. Meredith is currently studying as a graduate student of Ian Swensen at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
