About Adrian Kramer (baritone)
Baritone Adrian Kramer, a native of Guelph, is currently enrolled in the Opera Program at The Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia where he is a student of Marlena Malas. He was heard as Amida is Cavalli’s “L’Ormindo” this year and will be singing the Baritone in Argento's 'Postcard From Morrocco in April.
Mr. Kramer holds a Bachelor’s degree from The Juilliard School. While at Juilliard he was heard as Papageno in Mozart’s “Die Zauberflote,” Antonio and Count Almaviva in Mozart's “Le Nozze di Figaro,” The Black Cat in Ravel’s “L’Enfant est les Sortileges” and The High Baritone in Bernstein’s “Trouble in Tahiti.”
Adrian was the sole undergraduate winner of the Juilliard Honor’s Recital Competition in 2005 and was awarded with participation in a recital at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall. Last summer, Mr. Kramer attended both The Steans Institute at the Ravinia Festival and The Chautauqua Insitute.
