Two types of residence accommodation are available on campus. Only Bricker Residence is wheelchair accessible. Students under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult in order to stay in the residence.
Each air-conditioned apartment contains 4 single bedrooms, 2 washrooms, a kitchen (fridge and stove) and living room. On the main floor, there is a games room with a pool table and a lounge with a large screen TV. Coin-operated washers/driers are located on each floor. The kitchen includes stove and refrigerator, but no microwave. Please bring your own dishes, pots and pans, kitchen utensils, and face cloths. A limited number of suites with handicapped facilities are available.
Cost: $125 CDN per apartment per night (tax included) or $500 CDN (tax included) for up to 7 nights. Based on 4-person occupancy with a $25 extra charge for each additional child or adult occupant (maximum 8 guests per apartment), plus $10 CDN or US residence booking fee.*
Bouckaert is a traditional style non air-conditioned residence containing rooms with two single beds. On each floor, there are shared washroom facilities and a common lounge with a fridge and stove. Please bring your own dishes, pots and pans, kitchen utensils, and face cloths. Guests are encouraged to bring their own fans.
Cost: Double room $50 CDN (tax included); single rooms $35 CDN (tax included), plus $10 CDN or US residence booking fee.*
High-speed wired internet access (you should bring your own ethernet cable), extra mattresses, a limited number of TV/DVD players and microwaves, and coffee makers, etc. are available for nominal extra fees. Please ask Conference Services for these extras when you check in.
There is a $10 CDN or US fee for booking accommodation at WLU through SOSI. This fee is for the entire booking (e.g., for a family or individual). This will help to compensate the Institute for the many paid hours it takes to set up room bookings.
