Grace Peters (pianist)
Grace Peters graduated with her B.Mus. in Music History and Theory from McMaster, and her M.A. in Ethnomusicology and Musicology from York University. She has her A.R.C.T. from the Royal Conservatory of Music and has taught piano and theory for over 18 years.
Grace is an experienced piano accompanist and has worked with singers, instrumentalists and ensembles. She accompanies for ballet classes at the Royal City School of Ballet and has been rehearsal and orchestral pianist for 8 musicals with Royal City Musical Productions since 1999 and is looking forward to performing in Kiss Me Kate with them this fall. Grace has also played for Theatre Guelph, GLT, and Galt little theatre. She has recently taken on production work for the Guelph Little Theatre and is enjoying learning this aspect of performance work. Grace also enjoys playing with her local quartet Consortium, as well as performing chamber music with various local musicians.
In her other life, she is a support and crisis worker in the VAW sector assisting women and children fleeing violence. She sends her love and gratitude to her lovely and talented daughter Gwyneth and her wonderful husband Scott.
